What I would like to do is:

1. upload / install / setup s3sync.rb to the server at hand
   • important setup info is here http://s3.amazonaws.com/ServEdge_pub/s3sync/README.txt
2. test its use on a test directory
3. setup a cron on the test
4. all the while, coming up with a script / instructions on how to repeat the successful setup
5. follow script / instructions on real data, once all testing is positive
