What I would like to do is:

  - :-/ upload / install / setup s3sync.rb to the server at hand
    * :-) important setup info is here http://s3.amazonaws.com/ServEdge_pub/s3sync/README.txt
  - test its use on a test directory
  - setup a cron on the test
  - all the while, coming up with a script / instructions on how to repeat the successful setup
  - follow script / instructions on real data, once all testing is positive
