====== DIRECTIONS TO THE YEATES' BEACH HOUSE ====== ===== Going there ===== - Drive south on I-95 through Virginia and into North Carolina. - From I-95, turn east onto US-264 (Exit 119A) south of Wilson. - Follow US-264 for approx 5 miles and turn off on Exit 43C, to Goldsboro. - Head south on this 4 lane divided freeway towards Goldsboro. - You will follow this approximately 17 miles and exit at US-70 (east). Upon exiting you will pass a Kangaroo gas station and approximately 0.2 miles you will need to enter a ramp for US-70 Bypass. Head east toward Kinston. - Continue east on US-70 through Goldsboro & Kinston. - On the east side of Kinston, turn right on NC-58 (South). Signs will say to Emerald Isle. - Follow NC-58 all the way into Emerald Isle. Be cautious in Maysville as you will have to turn left at the Piggly Wiggly store to stay on NC-58. If you are approaching Jacksonville, you missed the turnoff. - You will come to a 4-way stoplight at Cape Carteret. Continue straight over the Intracoastal Waterway Bridge and into Emerald Isle at mile marker 21. - Our place is near mile marker 15, between 24th & 25th Street on the left hand side (facing the sound). Enter on Ashville Drive where complex sign says Emerald Bay Villa. We are in the back, unit 8-B. Our name is above the door. - You're here ! ===== When returning ===== - Following NC-70 westbound, go through Goldsboro past NC-117 Business. Continue until you reach a turnoff sign that says Raleigh (via NC-70) second right. Take that off-ramp (the other direction will say to Wilmington). Within 0.2 miles you will pass the previous Kangaroo gas station. Immediately after that, you will exit north onto the new NC-117, towards Wilson. - Proceed to step #3, backwards.
